Rix-Saws Africa was founded at the beginning of 2005 to serve the metal (ferrous & non-ferrous) industries with highest quality band saw and power saw blades.

Our manufacturer, Sägen-Mehring Sägenfabrik located in Hockenheim Germany has many years experience in the manufacture of band saw blades of German quality.

In 2008 we included band saw machines into our range of products by obtaining the sole agency of  Petra Stroji, a machine manufacturer based in the Republic of Slovenia , a member of the European Union. This move puts us in a position to be one of only a few companies in South Africa who can offer a complete saw cutting concept to it’s customers.

Our premises of 700m² located in Tunney is only 10km from Johannesburg International Airport and close to all major Highways.
